Chevrolet Silverado 3500 for Sale

A Real Man's Truck

The Silverado 3500 is sold in up to 30 different trims and combinations from the basic work truck (WT) to the luxurious LTZ. So that even with the choices available a customer will have a difficult time deciding which he will buy, because every trim and level will fit at least two or three requirements.

This bigger Silverado is powered by a 6.0-liter, 352-hp, V8 engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission, with a Duramax Turbo diesel 6.6.-liter, 365-hp engine coupled to an Allison 6-speed automatic transmission as option.

Trims and Levels

Its configurations include regular, extended or crew cab models and two-wheel or four-wheel drives. The crew cab is the best option for carpooling in outdoor sports such as when going fishing or hunting, or in commuting to the worksite, and some hauling or towing is required in addition to passengers. It is strong, tough and rugged enough to do all. Except, perhaps, to scrimp on the fuel bill.

The Silverado 3500's design is right for the purpose, though. The grille consists of three horizontal bars joined together by a honeycombed wire mesh. Rounded corners and streamlined look describe the exterior, which is offered in various metallic colors. The wraparound headlights also include two turnlights, and the chrome bumper looks massive and strong enough to really serve as a bumper, not merely as decoration. The bed is simple and functional, but the chrome bumper looks impressive amid a dark color background.

A Family Friend as Well

Inside, the Silverado 3500 is roomy, with more-than-ample hi- shoulder- and leg-room, in a simple design that excludes no-nonsense frills found in other brands. In short, the truck projects what it is: a serious man's partner in work and recreation, including family outings. It got the room, power and space to be all things a truck should be to anyone.
